If you’ve recently upgraded your laptop, you’ve suddenly found yourself without access to Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and the rest of Microsoft’s essential software. And since Microsoft switched from the traditional Office suite to the Microsoft 365 subscription service, accessing those programs has become more expensive. One thing to note: Although StackSocial is an authorized Microsoft partner, it is possible that Microsoft itself may terminate this agreement. However, it seems unlikely the company will: the version of Microsoft Office I bought through StackSocial a year ago still works on my Mac.
